The Forgotten

 Submissive/Slave Rights

Many web sites, chat rooms and fantasy novels have helped in creating an unrealistic view of D/s relationships.  The list below has been forgotten by some, because of fantasy. How often have you heard or made these statements?  "You are not submissive if you do not...........", "A real submissive would.........", "If you are submissive, you will do........"  These are forms of manipulation.

Whether submissive, slave or bottom:

  • You have the right to be treated with courtesy.

  • You have the right to be treated with respect.

  • You have the right to express feelings, whether good or bad.

  • You have the right to disagree and express disagreement.

  • You have the right to stand up for your beliefs, values and morals.

  • You have a right to retain your self respect and self worth.

  • You have the right to say No.

  • You have the right to walk away from an unhealthy situation.

  • You have the right to be treated as an intelligent, thinking person with feelings.

  • You have the right to make mistakes and ask those mistakes to be forgiven.

The submissive is the other half that makes the whole.....not less than the Dominant.
